For $29 a meal I was expecting much more. My chicken was dry, despite the sauce on top, but at least I could chew it. Unlike a friend who's veal was so tough she couldn't chew it. To add insult to injury, when we complained, they weren't even going to refund her meal until the whole lot of us (9 ladies) INSISTED that we NOT pay for it. Plus, we didn't appreciate the stand over tactics employed to encourage this person to back down over the poor food. Apparently it's "company policy" to not refund badly cooked meals, esp when the person didn't want another replacement meal (for fear that would be poor as well).
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm when I was in hospitality, the customer was "always right" & poor meals were refunded or replaced. I was truely shocked & amazed at the attitude on display by the entire staff that night & nearly thought the police would be involved as we wouldn't pay for the bad meal! Terrible, really terrible, Started out good nice venue but when the entree arrived and we were not happy with it because it was different to how the menu described it, we tried to send it back. Big mistake, we were told we had to pay for it no matter what, whether we ate it or not. They would not budge. We ended up very disappointed, terrible customer service. We paid for our bread and wine and walked out. All they had to do was let us change the entree, our night was a disaster.
