Birrigas

Birrigas is a gem. The food is consistently excellent. Good coffee, fresh juices, classic hearty breakfasts, lunch menu changes daily. Perhaps the best egg + bacon roll in Sydney. Tradies love it in the morning, families and couples and lone diners all come here throughout the day. There's a well stocked shop attached - good for emergency grocery items. The stand out apart from breakfasts are the fabulous cakes baked on the premises. Really, the carrot cake is a knock-out! They've also started opening for dinner on Monday night - menu looks great. Birrigas has been here for some years now and Geoff who runs it has a loyal following. Fresh and really great value cafe food is on offer. The breakfasts are big and hearty and great for a hangover. The home made cakes are gorgeous! There's a small shop attached with essentials. Toilet paper, laundry powder, tinned goods, cat food etc etc. Stuff you need but run out of. It's handy but it's also expensive compared to the supermarket but hey, you're paying for convenience.

My advice. Eat here and don't shop here ( unless you really need something quick!)
