Bites

Friendly and very dog-friendly caf in Woodend, a quaint town in the shadow of the Macedon Ranges serving up yummy breakfasts and lunches. The cakes and little friands are quite delicious and the food is made fresh each day.

2 Small scones were served. I didn't even try mine as they obviously had been pulled out of the freezer and defrosted in microwave, the bottoms were wet. Partner took a bite and stopped as they were dry and tasted stale..

Great salmon sandwiches! Fast service.

Been recommend by several friends went in to try it out and as soon as you walk in there is a great feel towards it great atmosphere lovely looking little cafe, the service there was outstanding the staff were all nice and great to chat to, the coffee would have to be one of the best I've ever had and the breakfast was to die for.

My boyfriend had the special Chilli scrambled eggs and he said they were the best eggs he's had in his life, everything was priced so well considering the outstanding quality of the coffee and food and great sized portions also nice little gifts highly recommended cafe if you are ever in town I suggest trying it out, I know there is no where else in Woodend I'd choose.

I ordered the antipasto which was over priced and contained 5 bits of actual food and half a loaf of bread, and some added protein in the form of a green flying bug! The staff then proceed to ague with me and tell me that as I was sitting out the front it must have flown into my food... they then offered to remove the lettuce and I could have the rest (I had eaten 1 of the 5 bits of food) I refused and proceeded to the register where they charged me the full price and argued with me some more that their kitchen was clean so it could not have been in there before being served!!!
