I have gone to this salon on and off over the years and always walked out happy. Today, I went in for a cut and foils and they did a lovely job. The shampoo and head massage was arguably the best I have ever had and the price at the end was very reasonable - $130 for half head of foils (two colours - dark brown and dark red). Would definitely recommend.
I am a Brisbane girl who was on holidays. I walked into this particular hairdresser and asked for my hair to be curled. I had my hair curled ONLY, no wash and was firstly charged $60. The curls fell out within 5 minutes and I returned to ask for a refund. Two lovely ladies that also worked at the salon tried to de fuse the situation, as I was clearly not going to receive any refund or compensation and offered to re curl my hair, this took a further 40 minutes and I am now home two hours later with limp curls that look ratty... THANKS, Bizarre Hair at Westfield Belconnen, for a terrible hair experience!!! A 1/2 star for the two ladies!!!
This was the worst hairdressing experience of my life. Dropped kids at school on rare day off from work, went to Bizarre hair for cut colour and hightlights, thought would have some time after to shop, relax. They seemed to have no staff who knew what to do. Died my hair brown, washed out, then put the foils in after this (usually done at the same time) By this time i had had four different people working on my hair as they kept swapping and going to work in the other shop and several interuptions where I was just left waiting as there was no staff. After 4 and 1/2 hours in the salon they had the nerve to ask if I actually wanted my hair cut as well. Well of course I did, but never in my wildest dreams thought I would be there so long. My appointment was at 9.30am walked out at 2.30pm $280.00 later, hair has never been the same since and they didn't even offer me a glass of water.
