What is Opti Coat? Opti-Coat is a pre-polymer that cross links and forms a continuous film on the surfaces it is applied to.
Does Paint Protection really work? Yes.Opti-Coat has better chemical resistance, scratch & mar resistance, and release properties than any automotive coating in use.
How long does Paint Protection Last and why is it better than wax? It is a permanent, clear coat finish very similar to your factory clear coat, only harder, and with higher resistance to chemical etching.
The second significant difference is the thickness of the coating. A single layer of Opti-Coat measures approximately 2 microns in thickness. Or 100 times thicker than your typical wax or paint sealant measuring in at 0.02 microns.
So What is Opti Coat? Why do you Recommend it? Opti-Coat is a hard wearing, ceramic clear coat for superior resistance to scratching (9H) and protection from chemical etching due to environmental impacts.
The Opti-Coat pre-polymer cross links, and forms a continuous protective film on the painted surface it is applied to, similar to a single component isocyanate that forms a clear coat finish. Opti Coat can be removed and re applied giving this a big tick of approval from a Detailers Perspective.

Had Brian do a pre-sale detail on my VW Golf today. To give you an idea, I hadn't properly cleaned the interior (it's cream) the entire 7 years I've had the car, and after working with newspapers for years, you can imagine how much it stained the upholstery. Plus having dogs in the backseat wouldn't have helped.
Brian would've spent hours detailing every inch of it, including under the bonnet and the end result is nothing short of remarkable. Very friendly guy to deal with, providing very professional work and charging very affordable prices. On two occasions recently I have witnessed the cleaning of cars from a Mobile Car Wash company in the car park of our Beenleigh offices.
