disappointingly this cafe still does not have Bonsoy which is the only organic fermented soymilk on the market so the only healthy soy to consume, have been here a few times since opened to see if they will stock it but they dont seem too keen, most coffee specialiality shops use bonsoy as it makes such great coffees and coffee snobs often resquest it
So I'm a self confessed coffee snob and recently I've gone off milk. So I drink either short blacks or soy latte's.
I tried this new soy I saw they were serving called Silk. And it was amazing. You actually taste coffee and it's really smooth to drink. It's comforting to know I no longer have to drink soy that has been grown on Asian farms as well. I will now have two coffees per visit at this place, a short black and soy latte to go! Oh and coffee by Axil roasters..need I say more!
not sure why this place has such food coffee reviews on other food review sites, now have silk soy milk on offer but not healthy bonsoy and the coffees (with/without soymilk) are really average, its really frustrating that in the popular cafe strip of glen waverley you cannot get a great coffee and have to travel out of the area? this place specializes in coffee and has almost nothing else and they still cant do great coffees?
new specialty coffee place opened up over summer 2014 near glen Waverley station. After reading reviews that finally Glen Waverley had got a superb coffee place I was optimistic. Some Kingsway cafes coffees re quite good but none are great. When I visited they did not have BONSOY and coffees were good but not great. They have a few Noisette bread and bakery items which is a local supplier and great stuff only a few light food is available but mostly for coffee. Small place but seating available outside or on bench area, staff friendly and welcoming
