Black Forest German Restaurant

This is a great place to experience authentic German food with great vibes. Both times we have gone they have had live music to add to the experience. Not a good vegetarian restaurant though.

Absolutely love the food at this restaurant! The meals are huge which some people may see as a problem but I think it's great. It means you can just stop eating when you are full and their meals will be sure to fill you up. I like the people who run this restaurant. They do have their quirks but after eating here many times I have began to realise they just have big personalities and are really very lovely. The food does take a long time to come out but this is because it is all made to order. If you're after an interesting and delicious dining experience I would recommend this restaurant.

Have eaten at this restaurant 4 times and will continue to come back. Have always had great meals but service is a little scary at times! I find the people pushy and rude at times, I try to look past this as we've always enjoyed our meals

We've been here several times as while it's service is hit and miss (nothing like what others seem to have experienced!) the food is great. Portions are generous, and the food was just as good as we ate in Germany.

The beer selection is also quite good with many German beers on offer.



The pork hock deserves a special mention as it's excellent, however you need to book it in advance due to the long cooking time.
