Good food but very limited menu. I love that the kids menu has 'real food' like a smoked salmon sandwich on it rather than the usual fare of re-cooked nuggets and chips from the freezer.
We used to enjoy this cafe a lot when they had a playroom and we're disappointed that it is no longer available. It sure did make eating here much easier when the little one could play or explore the books quietly while we finished our meal.
we have been there twice meeting a local friend after heard about their fantastic play room, anyway both times we got told off to be quiet due to our kids either being a little messy or being loud! What do you expect kids to behave, like perfect all the time? Kids are kids!
Their food is good so I'm giving at least 2 stars but we would never go there again.
Your friend sat in front of a sign that states ?NO FOOD OR DRINKS IN THE PLAYROOM? a choice was made by your friend, in front of the staff to take food in and feed the child while he played at the train table.
Your daughter was having a tantrum as a result you were requested to control the situation for the comfort of other patrons.
The café staff are not your personal maids to clean up the extreme mess your children made on the floor with their food.
Fantastic coffee. My cap was smooth and hot. The chocolate on top is so yummy. The breakfast brulee - with raspberry
and oats was a pure pleasure to eat. The service is warm and friendly. Everything was perfect. hard to find at cafes these days. One of the best on the north shore. Although I live in wahroonga I am happy to drive to turramurra for the experience this cafe delivers.
My wife and I have been several times at the Black Mocha Cafe and have enjoyed it very single time. The coffee is very good and the bakery goods are excellent (the strawberry jam is the best I had in a very ling time). The service is attentive and very good. I like in particular the atmosphere and the fact that you have more space to yourself than in most other cafes nearby.
