Blackwood Projects is an emerging construction business focussed on delivering small scale commercial construction projects including new build, refurbishments or maintenance programs. Focussed on the Brisbane metropolitan region, we also have capacity to service further afield into northern NSW and the broader south-east Queensland region.

At Blackwood Projects, we believe that underlying every successfully delivered project lies a strong foundational partnership, developed through outstanding communication and a common purpose; partnerships with all integral players â?? clients to designers, to subcontractors, and suppliers. In order to achieve this, we seek to better understand the needs and goals of our partners to ensure that we have commonality of purpose and vision for both the project and our respective businesses.

We are a private company with low overheads, providing us with flexibility and agility to meet the demands of the projects we tackle whilst maintaining a lean and hungry approach to our pricing structure.

Owned and managed by Stephen Wallis, Blackwood Projects leverages off Stephenâ??s skills and experiences drawn from over 16 years in construction working for industry leaders Laing Oâ??Rourke and Lend Lease. This experience allows Stephen to adapt the benefits of big business planning, strategies, systems and smarts to the small-scale projects on which we focus. This ability brings with it the certainty, quality and delivery acumen that clients desire, without the bloated overhead costs that invariably tag along.

Blackwood Projects Pty Ltd holds a Builderâ??s Licence issued by the Building Services Authority (BSA Licence Number 1287575) and carry all of the necessary insurances including Public & Products Liability insurance, Construction Works insurance and Workers Compensation. Blackwood Projects also maintains professional links with Queensland Master Builders Association.
