Bladeworx
If looking for something (such as skateboard, rollerblade etc) well made and of tops quality plus lessons in store, knowledgable staff advice, this is the place to visit. Don't expect cheap prices though. For example, cheapest skateboards are $100+ but beautiful and made of solid wood. This shop is for some serious hobby & quality.
We bought our 10yr old nephew a skateboard and protective gear for Christmas, with the help of one of the staff A friendly red headed young lady who is also a skater. Today we returned to the store in Hawthorn for a complementary lesson with Andre. Andre showed our nephew firstly the basics , especially a few different ways to stop.We went away with new skills to practice and confidence in the professional, friendly manner of the staff, thank you! We will be visiting again soon and will recommend your store to others :-) Louise & Justin Fletcher and Rohmi.
wanted to buy blades for my 5-year old and was a bit apprehensive as I'm not really a skater. The service was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The in-store lesson was great to teach her a few basic skills to get her started and they said to come back for lessons to check out her progress - fantasic friendly service - and lots of fun!
Bought my first blades 10 years ago from them, which are still going strong, then took my son there recently to get his =D The guys are friendly and are teaching the little guys to skate on their own time down at a skate park. Nice customer service and interest in the little people
