Blairgowrie Cafe

First the bad news. They close at 4 pm. Now the good news - their soy lattes are amongst the very best that we have ever enjoyed, and I generally only drink same to make my wife happy. But theirs was really nice. And their meals, salads...- this is a great little venue and well deserving of praise.

We wanted take away coffees. We had our order taken quite quickly, was very expensive, $4 for a small, they took above average time to make two coffees and they weren't very good. Wasn't even a bad coffee, I threw mine out after a few slips.

This place was a joke!! a complete and utter disaster fro start to finish. food, service,environment - everything!

Our waitress patronized me upon asking how big the big burger was and would it fill me up. They guaranteed that it was big and that it was absolutely fantastic! Another person on out table of 4 ordered the same meal as myself.

Not good coffee I must say, although a very nice location and overlooking the water (across the road) the cakes here are amazing though, a really large selection. I hear it's crazy busy here in the summer.

Blairgowrie cafe is a lovely place to eat. If you can get a table outside it is especially nice to sit with friends and watch the locals walk past. The food is interesting and yummy and the staff are friendly and fast. The servings are just right
