Carol has been teaching with the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) for 30 years. She holds the Teaching Certificate in Theatrical, Full Teaching Diploma in Tap and Intermediate Ballet Certificate. She is passionate about teaching dancing to all ages and has taught students from the age of 18 months to aged 75. She believes that dancing should provide enjoyment and also believes that students can reach their full potential by commitment and practice. She has taught at various school along the way and really enjoyed her time teaching the little ones at childcare centres. She has completed a Bachelor of Education (Primary), has WWCC and First Aid and is completing a Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment. She also co-founded, along side of Colleen, the newly developed organisation, Performing Camps of Australia. They have celebrated their very first Summer Camp, 2014, which was very successful. Carol and Colleen are very excited about the up and coming Winter workshop to be held in Byron Bay.
Colleen has been teaching for 7 years through CSTD schools and performing schools. She is currently completing the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing Teaching Certificates. She has her Certificate 4 in Dance (Teaching and Management) and is also currently completing a Bachelor of Education (Arts) at Deakin University and a Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment. She is constantly expanding her knowledge and exploring the dance world further every day. She believes that passing on her knowledge for dance to her students is the most important factor in her life. She also believes that if you strive for excellence you will succeed. She is also encouraging others to express their passion of dance through their teaching, and finds this extremely rewarding.
