Blank Canvas Restaurant

Went to Blank Canvas for breakfast this morning - absolutely lovely! Wait staff were extremely friendly, bubbly, and attentive, food was delicious, coffee was perfect ... What's not to love?

Definitely one of my new favourites! Absolutely delightful service - they even made us something off the breakfast menu even though it was the afternoon! (Granted, we did go in the off-peak season so they may have had more time). The highlight for me was really excellent coffee but hot chocolates and mochas look to be their speciality - with real melted chocolate! Also a beautiful location - overlooking the water on the Bay Esplanade!

The food is very good. Last visit mix up with orders, then had to ask again. Sure some staff training could bring this into line with look of restaurant and general quality of food. Prices probably a bit high for regular lunching compared to other nearby cafes

We were impressed by the fine dining experience at cafe prices, also the locality right on the water made for a fantastic outlook.
