Brendan Ellis from ble fencing was engaged to build a new fence in December 2021. In January 2022, I paid in full to cover his costs until the neighbour paid his share. The neighbour paid his share into the ble bank account in February 2022. Brendan did not tell me that the neighbour had paid his share and denied receiving payment from the neighbour on several occasions. In May 2022, Brendan finally admitted to receiving the payment and said he had refunded the money into my account. It is now June 2022 and he has still not paid. He will not answer or return my calls and messages. I have unfortunately had to apply to vcat to get my money returned.
