A long time fan of Blessed Cheese - I have done their wine and cheese trail (if you haven't done this please do - it's a fun way to explore McLaren Vale and you might try something new!) and they are always a good choice if you need a casual place to eat and drink. Popped in for a late lunch because my friend was hungry, I drank while she had the fish and chips - a very crunchy piece of fish with a nice salad and good chips.
our visit on mothers day was booked, and we had a table in the front cafe room. while it was super busy, i'm so glad we booked. however we waited a fairly long time for our breakfasts and they werent any where as good as the last time we visited. my children were very dissapointed with the french toast it was plain and very boring. seasonal fruit looked like it came out of a can, and it had no taste or flavour. it wasnt even served with any liquid or cream/yoghurt. price and quality did not match up with this one.
fruit loaf was amazeballs and packed full of flavour, it had everything in it and the taste was beautiful. heavy breakfast to have 3 slices. but a generous serve is better than an ungenerous cafe when it comes to food. ...read more
I work as a venue manager in the hospitality industry and Blessed Cheese gave the best customer service I've experienced in 10 years. A visit here is what made our trip to Mclaren Vale so special. Staff there went above and beyond the call of duty to make our day...I will be visiting again, I will be referring to all...never change. I'm at the stage where I want to send staff there to show them 'HOW IT's DONE!' Keep up the great work, see you soon
