It packs a crowd at lunch all wanting to tuck into homemade, organic fare free of gluten, dairy and GM products. Didn't have any breakfast this morning so all the more reason to fill up at Bliss Organic Caf - I had very nice spinach and potato patties; the vegie curry and brown rice, and then the delicious date and walnut with raspberry topping panacotta. Was like a pudding in a glass. It's a good atmosphere there with warm and friendly staff. It's a great place to retreat to in the city if you just want to enjoy a nutritional meal or morning/afternoon tea, have a warm exchange with people for a while and gather your thoughts. My fave room is the little one, the one I call 'the Moroccan room' or for two people if you wish, or you can eat in one of the two larger areas or outside in the courtyard garden, including under the gazebo - with cushions to make you feel more comfortable./ These are some of the pleasant food memories I've had there since I moved to Adelaide a few years ago: Bliss Burgers, kofta balls and rice - fabulous, quinoa salads, juices (e.g. with ginger) you've never ...read more
Whats so lovely about this cafe is its located in the heart of the city, but yet when you walk in it feels like its a home away from home. It certainly has that "backyard" comfy feel to it. a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy a healthy meal together.
our juice's were delicious and such a nice selection of mixes for juice. It must help being just a stones throw away from the central markets. You know they are using the freshest of fresh ingredients and if they were to run out, i'm sure they would be able to collect some from the markets ASAP and still have your order ready for you in a reasonable amount of time.
the staff were not all as nice as the waitress. she seemed like she really loved her job. although the staff behind the counter behaved as if they were just at work, to pay the bills. Its one thing to have staff like this working for you - but probably not on the service desk.
we enjoyed our visit and our burgers were totally awesome.
great food, warm caring staff and a whole range of vegan products including shoes, clothes and food. scrambled tofu for breakky is lovely, i frequently order it. as a recently converted vegan i love this place for the kind and welcoming staff and amazing food. i often buy tea, organic jam and vegan chocolate and other food and non-food products from here
