great little shop! i really like the idea of buying locally made items to support the Australian economy and found the range to be extensive covering everything from jewellery, womens clothing, mens t shirts to soaps and childrens clothing.
i found the owner to be very friendly and quite happy to chat about the shop, each designer and anything else in between!
i have sent many friends there and think it is a great one stop shop when youre looking for a gift suited to your loved ones.
I cannot disagree more with the previous reviewer. The owner is warm friendly and helpful. My tea and gluten free cupcake lovely. I spend hours looking through all the shelves full of interesting jewelry accessories and love the idea of buying hand made and locally made gifts for friends. Yes you can buy mass produced imported goods cheaper. But I believe myself and my friend deserve better than that. For artisan produced products I believe the pricing is excellent
Blue Attic offers a limited range of accesories and charming yet overpriced baby attire, custoner service is very poor.
Everything is made in Melbourne. What were you looking for? Did you ask for help? Was it busy, Was I overworked? Perhaps you should shop at a $2 shop if you find Australian made too expensive! Support local. Blue Attic does not care for insults really. And neither do the people who work their guts out to make these 'quaint' items for little reward (oh yes, one of those would be me).
