Bluebird Cafe

I agree with the other reviewer but the menu has expanded and they make fantastic pizzas now (using fresh dough!) and their secondhand bookshop has great stuff.

This cafe is being restored after being closed for ages. It looks like everything needs repair, and the owners are doing all the work themselves (Kevin McCloud would be proud) They are also doing coffee and food at the same time! Just basic stuff as they don't have a full kitchen, but it's well done and very reasonably priced.

There is a small fridge with a surprisingly wide range of drinks stocked including 'Lemon and Paeroa' from NZ.
