Best Mexican in Melbourne! Can't go past the vegetarian burrito!

Went to this restaurant today. I don't even know where to start! Firstly, it took 20 mins for our drinks to arrive.... They came seperately...... Then, we had to wait another 15 mins for someone to come and take our order! So, so far we have been there a total of 35 mins and only just ordering a starter...... Which came burnt and slightly cold. Then mains.... I asked for no spice and my partner asked for spice..... But no, mine was super spicy and his was bland! My dish was again average and slightly cold. After all of this I ordered a simple glass of white wine, which took over 15 mins to arrive and it was warm and the lady who took my order forgot, came back to check 20 mins later and realised that I had my wine and just mouthed the word sorry, no real apologie!? The restaurant wasn't even busy at this point! The drinks never arrived together, they took over 10 mins to arrive! The staff were friendly yes but the service was very poor! Really fun and relaxed experience. We don't eat Mexican food often but this was really quite different to the usual texmex sort of fare that you see around town.

Really nice place to go for dinner or drinks, with a great selection of food and tequila to get messy with, and there are several other st kilda bars around the corner to continue your crawl through st kilda.

Not your average Mexican restaurant. Unusual flavours, great service and friendly atmosphere. I would happily return even though Mexican is not my favourite. It's not cheap but it's classy.
