BNE Removals

The movers were rude and unprofessional and complained constantly about the shape and weight of the furniture to be moved. They took far longer than they should have to do the work. They did not move the furniture as they were told to, there were small pieces missing and left on the floor including screws and dowels needed to reassemble furniture, and some pieces we believe to be left on the floor of their truck. They also dropped the furniture on the stairs on the way down multiple times leaving a number of scratches and gouges in our furniture. BE AWARE the t's and c's require the customer to pay $500 of excess for any damages or losses. If you don't have that money, DO NOT use bne removals.It's not worth it.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Poor management & customer service. Don't hire them.

The truck they sent was rented, and too small for the job, we couldn't get all our things in. And they two guys they sent were pretty slow at packing the truck.

I was 4 months pregnant and had a back injury and still had to call 3 friends with utes to help pick the rest of our belongings up!

Nothing was damaged, which is a positive.

Called/emailed customer service daily over a month long period and received no response.

Be extremely careful before using this removalist company. Do not let the driver leave your premises if there is any damage until the claim form is completed!! This is against their insurance even if the driver is aware of the damage. After seemingly rude responses from head office in regards to my claim which the driver even took photos on his phone with and has now denied even though I have 2 witnesses to the damage and the conversation that took place afterwards they are still refusing to accept any responsibility or reimbursement. I received fake information from the driver and receptionist on how to submit claim for insurance and now they are refusing. I would not recommend to anyone!! Overcharged as well as extra charges which are not mentioned prior. Very shady and not trustworthy.

Exactly the same experience. Truck (Europcar) was to small, so 2 moves required, petrol charge of $55, extra charge to move a 2 1/2 seater sofa lounge $110, during move informed their insurance does not cover any furniture with glass, they also damaged my fridge, locked themselves out during move, left furniture behind in common propery unprotected for hours and have failed to respond to any of my emails. I hired 3 guys hoping it would make the move quicker, still took them 7 hours to move a one 1/2 bedroom unit from Newstead to Teneriffe (1.2 kms) at a total cost $1300. My advice, definately avoid this company unproffesional and overpriced.

The booking process was easy and the 2 guys that moved our furniture were really friendly. That's the good news. However, the person who took my call failed to mention the standard petrol charge and although I explained we were moving from a 5 bedroom 2 storey house failed to mention that they only have one sized truck (Small) and only about 1/3 of our furniture could actually be moved unless we paid for them to go back and forth from one house to another which I estimate would have cost approximately $1,300. They simply hire a truck from Europcar. Our fridge was damaged in the move and although we contacted them within 12 hours, they told me their insurance didn't cover fridges and because I didn't stop the movers from leaving my house I am not entitled to anything. They have not responded to my further emails. My advice is to go elsewhere.
