Couldn't even get an appointment. I called many times at different times of the day over a few days and couldn't get onto a staff member even with leaving messages and trying by email.

I am the owner of the Body Essence Salon. I am puzzled by your comments. The majority of the day, each day, my role is to attend to phone messages and emails. I return all calls, provided I can decipher the number left for me to call and having just checked once again, I have no emails of which have not been answered.
Yes the answering machine is used when all staff are in appointments. This is to ensure each and every client receives an undisturbed treatment of the highest standard. This is common practice for this industry. We always check for messages as soon as practically possible.
