Clinical Myotherapy is a branch of manual medicine which focuses on the treatment and management of musculoskeletal pain. It involves the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal pain complaints that can originate from the various structures of the body including, muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, fascia, nerves, etc, hence providing a multifaceted approach to pain management.




In western medicine, pain can often be masked through various means such as with the use of pain killers. This however, simply masks the pain, yet the original problem still remains and pain and restriction will soon return again. Myotherapy aims to address the cause of the pain, not just mask the symptoms.
