I went here for breakfast on Valentines Day. There were quite a few people lingering around waiting for their orders. I ordered my poached eggs with a side of bacon and took a seat outside. Within minutes my juice was delivered. .... with a chocolate covered strawberry. People just kept coming in. Either for take away or to dine in. It's definitely the place for locals. Even the dogs seemed to know each other.
My meal came and all I can say is wow. The bacon was Speck. Thickly cut and crispy. 3 huge pieces. The eggs were perfect. The tomato relish was wonderfully sweet and definitely did not taste like cherry tomatoes.
Take away meals are taken to the person, rather than the person coming to the counter to collect. Very nice.
They also sell bunches of flowers.
What a treasure this place is.
Plenty of street parking but Apparently it is well patrolled, so take notice if the times.
Very clean and tidy and the staff are very friendly.
The building was poorly ventilated given the best, and majority of seating is inside. Food was tasty and obviously made fresh with is great. Hygiene practices here could use a little improving. Space restrictions will prevent this being a good place for a large booking of four or more, though the space-saving interior is an interesting spectacle in itself. Staff here are very friendly and don\'t waste time serving. Small local produce like honey, is available. Bold\'s a good place to pick up one of the papers and read for some time out.
Popped in here recently on a Saturday afternoon. Admittedly we scooted in at 2:45pm and I was aware they close at 3:00pm, but the male barista was very friendly and welcomed us with a smile. My daughter and I sat inside and enjoyed our beautifully made coffee and babycino, then went on our way.
But compliments to Bold Coffee on a lovely, little cafe! Recommend!!!
