Bombay By Night

Out of all restaurants which are on my visit list, Bombay by night was in the top 10 but my visit today (26/07/14) has put the restaurant on top of the list of restaurants which i would hate to visit. My partner and I made a quick call to the restaurant to make a booking and to our surprise we got it (as all good restaurants are generally overbooked and not able to cater to last minute bookings).

Firstly we were wondering why the staff was encouraging us to order entrees. Upon our decision to stick to only main course, we were told that the mains would take 30mins to which we agreed. Bombay by Night, unless I'm mistaken has had several incarnations, including this one. I enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the service. My only gripe was that servings were rather small, which left us with a slightly bigger bill than we had expected! Overall, great fun!

Rubbish food... Crap service rude staff... Hygine issues... Dont go dont go .., horrible place

I loved this place. They were busy as hell, and the food was bloody good.



Definitely worth going again, probably the highest quality Indian food I've ever eaten in Melbourne.

Good quality suburban Indian restaurant - doesn't look like your typical Indian restaurant. The home-made icecream is wonderful.
