Bondi Bikram Yoga

After hearing all about hot yoga I got curious and went with a friend to Lava Yoga in Bondi. They had a start up deal which was unlimited classes for a month for a low price so we signed up. The facilities are great, a lovely spacious and clean changing room equipped with showers and lockers. You have to take two towels, one for during the workout and one for afterwards. Going in the room is hot but doesn't feel unbearable. As you move around you feel how hot it really is. The teachers were great though, making sure they know who is trying it out for the first time. If you get too hot you are told to lie down and focus on your breathing. All in all the experience was great, it's a gentle workout but mixed with the heat it doesn't wonders for your muscles and posture.
