No follow up and no accountability. So, we used booking.com to book our hotel in Singapore. I have used them once before and found they did what they said. That time we also got reminders (and up-sell emails) in the weeks leading up as the time of our trip approached. This time however was VERY different. Booked one night over 3 months out, then NOTHING from them at all, not a peep. This one was shortly after a crazy Christmas New Year period and the next we know, we are getting a no-show email. We had mistakenly booked 5th Jan rather than 5th Feb. Our bad but had we had ANY follow up in the month leading up to it, we would have quickly realised the error and probably been able to fix it (or at least not wasted it and taken an extra trip). As it was, we contacted the hotel directly (usually get more personal service). Understandably they said it was wholly up to booking.com. So we contacted them, they said it was up to the hotel. I actually really love this website and booking.com is my absolute go-to place when I am scoping out a trip. The website is extremely user friendly meaning it is so easy to use. It offers a lot of variety and you can search by exact location with the interactive map feature. They also send very helpful local area guides for the places you book. The competitive rates are what brought me here initially be the easy experience and hotel, apartment or home booking is what keeps me going back. I have been all over the world with booking.com and will continue to use their accommodation booking platform in the future
Booking.com is awesome for scoping out the best deals on accommodation. My partner & i have used this website on a number of occasions now and it is so user friendly. Most deals are book now, pay later which is also great means you can lock in your booking at great prices and secure you're dates. Will keep using and would recommend.
A very good, easy to use website to locate hotels not only within Australia, however the world if you are travelling overseas. They often have some good specials and the reviews on their website also help you to choose that perfect hotel. A little like TrueLocal, but for hotels.
Their Australian customer care centre is friendly and you tend to get good turn around times if you need to contact them VIA email.
