Borgata Italian Restaurant

Pizza was covered in so much cheese with very little other toppings, more of an American style pizza than Italian. The pasta was average at best, did not taste like authentic Italian, the meatballs did not taste homemade. Also don't order the gnocchi with chilli if you don't like spicy things, I was told they would reduce the amount put in the sauce and my mouth was still on fire and not able to actually taste the gnocchi dish!
The service was great, the atmosphere okay, weird decor with the utensils hanging off the roof.

We ordered an appetiser each & a main course. Very disappointed because waitress presented with our mains & told us your appetisers are with the mains "they" (I presume the chef) have done them all at the same time. I said we cannot eat both at the same time & if you take the mains away they will be spoilt. The mains consisted of baby veal with potato egg plant & some other vegies in creamy sauce. The latter was scarse,potatoes cold but the veal & egg plant were yummy 6.5/10. The other main was king prawns with a rice savoury spicey chilli sauce. Plenty of king prawns. The dish was spoilt with bay leaves 6-8 of them plus cloves....cloves!!! Really awful when eating the rice and sauce & crunch...ouch was that....at first,is it a foreign body!!!
