Boroondara City Council

Allows beautiful heritage homes to be demolished. The removal of 100yr old palms, native trees with massive canopies & other substantial vegetation to make way for massive ugly, soulless constructions with land void of vegetation. Mainly built by companies or short term owners for profit with little regard for Boroondara precious architecture & environment.
Council states there’s nothing they can do as VCAT will overturn their decision. Maybe, just maybe VCAT would consider Boroondara Council’s objections if even they could be bothered to stand up to what is important instead of just rolling over & allowing VCAT to continue in their outdated approach.
Rate payers pay to give Boroondara Council a voice, use it & represent us.

As per previous review, the council has excellent customer service still. Friendly, informative and prompt.

The council has always been very friendly and helpful in handling enquiries both through the phone and in person.
