Stopped in here for morning tea when doing the rounds for work.
Ordered a coffee and a croissant.
Coffee was perfection - the croissant turned out to be a chocolate one when I was actually hungering for a plain! But I guess that's ok? I just ate it anyway because I was starving and it was that time of the morning.
It's a lovely little spot with places to sit and eat under trees and right across the road from the train station.
Lovely lovely lovely staff and piping hot coffee and great side dishes
Waverton gets confused with Waverley at times but they are different , try a walk through a pretty park with snacks from cute cafe . Parking can be tight but it's worth it , or take the train and that's another fun activity worn a takeaway coffee in your hand
Fair prices too.
This is one of those places that unless you actually know that it exists you will probably never have the opportunity to ever actually visit it (unless you get off the train at Waverton for some unknown reason and then see it across the road). At the name suggests it is a cafe but it is also situated within a beautiful garden. In fact the one and only reason that I would suggest visiting the place is simply to sit in the garden and have a cup of coffee (or tea). The owners have gone to incredibly lengths to make this cafe an awesome place to simply while away a quiet morning (or afternoon). In fact the hardest decision that I actually had to make was trying to work out where to sit. In fact, if you ever get off the train at Waverton once in your life, make sure to do so simply to come and visit this place.
I just keep coming back to this place, the food is great and the portions are pretty generous. I went with a friend just the other day and she had the vegetarian breakfast. Man alive did I have food envy! all that haloumi, marinated mushroom and house made baked beans? YUM! luckily I surround myself with friends who share. I sure know what I'll be getting next time. The place is super cute, you can sit under the trees or at any of the eclectic benches and couches. It's the perfect start to a relaxing Saturday.
