Botanical Cafe Functions & Events

Disappointing and looks like it's now closed down. We went a couple of weeks ago and the toilets really needed cleaning, staff seemed uninterested and distant. Orders took for ever and food was ordinary with us leaving most of it. Such a shame for a great venue.

We have been scheduling our mothers group meet here and it's been a hit and miss. Deck area seems messy as if tables and chairs are arranged randomly so the places appears a little unorganised... Tables and definitely the chairs appear in need of a wipe down. The location is beautiful and the deck area is so lovely but the overall experience is a little average... Can't complain about hot beverages so far and the environment is very family friendly which is great! #reviewtowin

Had my sisters wedding here, 2 guests didn't show and 2 guests showed up that didn't RSVP, as the MC I tried to resolve this with management without involving the Bride, but management basically said the uninvited guests would not eat or have to leave. Unfortunately the bride had to step in to resolve the situation. Also, Unlimited Bar tab only applies when the wait staff are not serving food, even if they are standing behind the bar doing nothing.

Long queues with empty serving dishes as kitchen struggled to keep up

..When asked by the Manageress "how did we find our dining experience" honest feedback to this unsolicited question was not well received

We thought we'd treat my partner and my dad today for father's day, but next time I think we'll pick somewhere else for lunch. When we arrived it took the seating hostess 15 minutes to stop wandering around to come greet us and tell us when we were sitting. She threw our menus on the table, providing only 2 menus and 1 drinks menu for 7 people and conveniently forgot to tell us there was no table service, you had to order your meal from the bar. They forgot half our drinks, our meals (though delivered quite promptly) all had cold chips and my father cos some half frozen mash potato with his steak. The girls at the bar tried to over charge my father for his beer, until he managed to get them to look at their own menu. So they grudgingly agreed that they were in the wrong.
