Bourke Street Bakery

Very friendly service at this hole in the wall but there are seating available. Coffee is good here and am always getting a little treat here to get me through the day. Love the ginger brulee tart & lemon meringue.

The famous Bourke St Bakery brand did the right thing so that those North Sydney office workers don't have to trek over the bridge any more. Thank you Bourke St bakers ! The same reliable pies, sausage rolls, coffee and cakes all a fair price, higher than other bakeries but you can taste the quality ingredients, they never let you down.

Bourke Street Bakery is always a safe bet for pastries, breakfasts and they make the best chicken and celery sandwich with walnut mayo. Their pastries are always ridiculously fresh and tasty, a perfect addition to your morning tea/coffee. The space here is just too small and pretty hidden, you can walk past it without even noticing it is there the first few times. North Sydney needs a bigger Bourke Street Bakery as a lot of its charm is lost because it is just a hole in the wall. Still, it is my go-to place for pastries in North Sydney.

Not my favourite pie. Not sure what all the hype is about. The birds out the front raided the poor boy next to me of his pie. Happened to another couple before I left also. They need to get on that.

Good bakery, haven't been blown away by anything yet...guess that means I'll just have to try some more treats!
