I 'd give them no stars. I had to give them the half otherwise I could not do a review. I to paid in full upfront, and canceled the wedding. It has been over five years and I am still chasing my money. They give me constant excuses and now i cannot locate them. I have hired a lawyer and he to to date has not been successful. These people are disgusting. Please don't use them.
I WOULD NEVER use these people again. We signed the contract and paid upfront (on a 'special package' deal). Our initial dealings were with the Manager (quite good) but the photographer was awful. On the day, he acted completely inappropriately, left before the end of the night (no photos of the bridal waltz or anything past that) and was completely disorganised - did not take any of the photos we discussed during our 'planning' meeting. We got married in early 2003, and did not get our photos for 2 years. In the end, we only got them due to phoning, turning up on the doorstep every week, and telling potential customers arriving for appointments how bad they were. When we did get our album, it was terrible quality and bound in the wrong cover. We were mislead about what we paid for - we had to pay almost double to get an album (special package price didn't include much) and no cover for the new album.
I wanted to give Bournou no stars but that is not possible so I have to give 1/2 star. We used them on 29/12/01 for our wedding but did not get the photos until Feb 05 after much hassle ringing them and sitting outside their studio every day. We were young and naive and paid upfront for their services as soon as we signed the contract (we booked them a year in advance). The photos were above average but the service was appalling - they were unresponsive and kept making up excuses for why our photos were not getting done on time (they promised 1-2 months after the wedding for the album to be completed). Our wedding day was supposed to be a day to remember but our experience with Bournou was something I'd rather forget.
