Bowling Laybourn Architecture (BLA) was formed in 1996.

BLA is operated under the direction of David Laybourn from an office in Surry Hills, with a small base located in the Blue Mountains at Blackheath.

At BLA we are enthusiastic about the practise of architecture and are committed to producing original and affordable design solutions for our clients to enjoy. Our extensive architectural knowledge across many use categories and management experience ensures that each project is founded on sound design, environmental and construction principles.

Our project in Eliza Street, Newtown was the joint winner of the 2010 Marrickville Medal for Conservation.
