Brodie, Was professional and called to let us know when he will arrive. His honest service was welcomed and he fixed our heater that we were told needed to be replaced. We will definitely use BP heating again if needing anything repaired. Thank you for your professionalism.
They tested the system, and was willing to sign off on the paperwork saying that 1ppm was acceptable CO reading. (Energy Safe Victoria - ESV, says it should be 0). I asked them to check again while I was watching because I had seen a higher reading on their equipment. They came back and rechecked(this all happened within 20 mins), the reading was 5.
DONT USE THEM IF YOU VALUE YOUR FAMILY's LIVES...
Hi Kris as I have explained to you, the reason why our service tech went out side is to re calibrate our equipment in fresh air after getting a reading of 1-2ppm. Once the 5ppm was found in the bedroom we decommissioned your heater and made everything safe.
We would never sign off anything other than 0ppm as being safe & acceptable. As discussed with you on the phone today the initial reading was 1-2ppm and our service technician followed procedure for when a reading above 0 is detected. He went outside to fresh air to obtain a 0 reading then returned inside to re-test as per protocol which is when a level of 5ppm was detected. He then immediately decommissioned your heater to ensure it could not be used. BP Heating & Cooling place anyone's health and safety as our number one priority. Brodie
