I have positive experiences with BPTs work on two of my vehicles. My FG recently and my BF a few years ago.
BPT with their specialist experienced mechanics offers higher quality of mechanical work than a Ford dealer can provide, and offers custom fabrication where required. I have experienced how BPT puts in extra effort to get it right and resolve technical challenges that others can't fix. BPT is a true specialist in modifying software and programming modules in late model Fords. I have experienced honest service where I know BPT spent more time on my vehicle but billed me for less. Not many others in Australia has this level of specialist knowledge in making your Ford go fast, and at the same time be reliable. Very happy customer of BPT.
Hello
I have dealt with BPT Motorsport in regards to a few cars. Every recommendation they have given to improve my performance I have done and has been successful. The staff are always friendly and reliable. BPT offers competitive prices, but their service, knowledge and skills are outstanding compared to other businesses which I've previously taken cars. I recommend this company.
Have been to BPT twice for Dyno tuning, both times have been lacklustre in regard to service.
The feel is very generic with not much personal attention to the questions asked, instructions given or car in question. After repeating myself, being greeted with rolled eyes and then still driving away with no resolution and no explanation.
Even tho they might do sort of work every day, I would still expect to be taken seriously as a well paying customer and get the level of service that goes with it. I have gone away both times unimpressed to say the least.
My impression of the work and results was not good, unorganised and again unimpressed.
I definitely will not be going back and I recommend to others with my experience to take your business elsewhere.
I am not sure who and what vehicle you represent. I am sure that if you had any legitimate concerns about our service and told us about this I personally would have compensated for your experience. By all means please contact us so we could change the view you might have.
Ask for me Barry.
If using BPT please get yourself a written and binding quote up front. Repair costs may go alot higher than discussed if you don't. Never take verbal pricing as being close to what you might pay. Its always a good practise to get it in writing. I was verbally told of extras needed and verbal added costs given and taken into consideration, and it still went over by heaps.
After reviewing this customers work it was found that additional work was performed that was approved to be done by the customer, this blew out his initial quotation by a small margin.
Well, Unfortunately for the guys at BPT Motorsport i have to toatally agree with Mr 351... Ive now had my third disaster with them and guaranteed this will be the last...
At first, they do offer some great service, but after you walk out the front door it all changes. Do not worry about getting yourself a written and binding quote up front, just dont go here.. Find somewhere else.
The original quote was way not even close to what they originally told me and the original fix turned into an $800 job...
Hello, as with any story given it is safe to say that there is more than one side to the story as told by yourself. What you have neglected to tell the public is the full story. I remember the original concern was an oil leak coming from the turbo oil supply line at the block end , Upon inspection it was found that there was no leak at the said mentioned and that in actual fact oil was present at the timing cover. Your response to the phone conversation was as follows " I don't give a F**** what it cost just fix the F***** oil leak, Im sick of my dad complaining about the oil dripping on his F****** driveway." The total of the repair came to $771.00, this also included a timing chain tensioner guide replacement as upon removal of the timing cover it was found to be broken. It was decided to change this part because if left would of caused a definite engine failure. This work from a dealership would have cost you more. All that work and no thanks for saving your engine.
