For many years, Jim Bradstreet, Groucho his little corgi and this store were Hawthorn landmarks. His personal dedicated service was

held in high regard by locals. Ownership has changed and the dilapidated store has had a big makeover but it still provides a

goldmine of literary treasures for book lovers and I think Jim Bradstreet still serves there occasionally helping retain a link with the

past. Check out the "specials" tables out the front of the store too.
