Braids of Africa definitely distinguishes itself in African hairdressing services and in the pricing 'policy'..in relation to the pricing, the one (wo)man shop's owner prides herself on the same price for all (yes, other African hairdressers tend to charge different prices based on your cultural background - now you know). Further, Braids of Africa has a level of professionalism unique in the marketplace in that the owner prides herself with trying to keep to appointments...its the small things that make a difference. :) i speak from experience in other salons, i have been 'looked after' sometimes 3 hours after my initial appointment and not as an anomaly..

The level of service is one that deserves praise,she did a consult about my hair and she advised me what was best for me and my receding hair line, honestly was not impressed with her advise and went some where else but later found out that she was right.i went back 2 weeks later and got my hair done since then my hair has grown and I have an improved hair line.prices are reasonable.
Plenty of parking for those driving but for those not driving it's a bit far from the station but plenty buses.
