Took my car in for some basic work and a major service. The invoice states that all lights were checked and a 77 point inspection done, but my back brake light was out and I hadn't told them. When I got the car back it hadn't been replaced, so it obviously wasn't checked. They also left a rag in my engine and overquoted me by about $500 on getting my head gasket fixed. I won't be taking my car back here even though I have a free minor service still.
I should add in fairness that I also got my door handles replaced and front brake pads replaced and this was done well and the price was reasonable. Perhaps the missed brake light and the rag were just mistakes but it doesn't inspire trust as a first time customer.
