This place is appears to be very nice and relaxing. I came in the other day after a hard day's work and there were only about 5 people eating in there. I ordered a chicken parma and it was not that good. The chicken appeared to be soggy and lacking and taste. Their staff however, were very friendly and nice. I will definately not be ordering the chicken parma next time I come here.

Great food here. Good wine selection. Mostly smiling friendly staff. Not too slick, cosy in winter. The carpet makes it quiet; great if you want some intimacy. Even when its busy its not noisy. The front bar has a casual local atmosphere; the dining area a bit more formal. I just keep going back for the food and the ambience.#reviewtowin

It's been a number of years since I've been here but I recently went back as I was feeling like a quality parma. Once again, it was very quiet here and we were basically the only people in the restaurant/bar. I ordered the parma again while my partner ordered the burger. I was a bit disappointed with the parma as it wasn't what I quite remembered it being like. It was no where near as thick and the size has shrunk a fair bit. Either it was a bad cut, or that's how they are now, the quality still remains the same, being juicy and crispy. The burger was quite a mouth full, but honestly just tasted like your average burger.

And as for the service, still exceptionally friendly. More a reason to keep coming back.

By far the best parma I've had. The batter on the parma was what made it amazing. It was a nice thick generous cut of the chicken, very juicy. Chips were a bit too salty. But what made this place amazing was the service! Extremely friendly and very nice. I went on a thursday, it was a very quiet night, there was just 1 man that looked after the bar and the restaurant but he did an amazing job. Ambience could be a tad nicer, and I don't like how they separate the restaurant from the bar menu. But overall, an amazing experience, highly recommended, especially the chicken parma.
