I mainly come here for the gelatos, lots of different flavours and varieties, and especially like the more Asian flavours such as black sesame, and green tea. Best is to buy a takeaway tub so that you can enjoy it anytime at home, or when you have guests over - dessert all sorted out!
I love the gelato here, full of flavour, smooth and delicious. Flavours from raspberry, rock melon, hazelnut and coffee, there are over 20 flavours to choose from.
After dining at one of the many restaurants in crows nest this is a great destination for dessert.
As well as gelato they also sell ricotta cheese cake, a selection of pastries and other sweet treats.
It gets busy on a Saturday night but takeaway gelato is easy, and there are seats in the nearby park or stroll along the streets of crowes nest to scope out your next dinner venue.
#reviewtowin. I have been eating at Bravo for many years.
Since moving to the new/current premises, the price of the mains has increased while the quality has decreased. It is too expensive for what you get.
The gelato is still the best.
The coffee is hit & miss when it is good, it is very good. Recently I took a colleague there for coffee. The 1st coffee to come out was perfect; the 2nd coffee tasted like warm milk. Very disappointing as it was a great favourite.
Maybe I wasn't lucky at my choices at the two times when I went there. I had passion fruit gelatto, which I found a bit too sweet and not very concentrated in flavor, it really felt like sth was missing... And then on another day I had gnocchi with napolitana sauce. The gnocchi was definitely over cooked and a bit watery... And I have to say, I found it pretty expensive for what you get. I had cheesecake for dessert, that was quite nice but a bit too heavy - luckily I was sharing it with my bfriend and my sister, otherwise I'd never have been able to finish it!
