I had heard good things about this place, however was very dissapointed. There was nothing on the menu that stood out to me. Ordered basic eggs, however came out and the one bit of bread was not toasted. Expensive and overated.

Instagram was my first introduction to this place. Seeing all the beautifully presented plates made me want to visit it in the flesh.
It was all i hoped it would be, a beautifully presented cafe, with hipsters, fashion blogger and food enthusiasts all lining up to take photos of food.
There's an open kitchen so you can easily see all the action, the line for lunch was pretty long so I guess you need to come early.
The cafe is beautifully presented, with beautiful flowers and colourful ornaments and lights. I can see why this place is so photographed.
Will definitely come again!

Bread & Circus at Alexandria is located at a place that I'd like to call “a brunch food court”. I've been to this place before but because this particular cafe had a waiting list to get a table I decided to go elsewhere. This time around, I took my friends with me and braved the 30-or-so-odd-minutes of waiting time for a brunch on a Sunday afternoon.

The place was relatively spacious although it is more of a communal dining style, so expect to sit with other people and have less personal space.

Once seated, the service was quite pronto and the food came pretty quick too. We ordered the eggs breakfast which was quite a nice dish although it wasn't exactly memorable. We also ordered their pancakes — they were very thick and the texture felt like meat.

Overall, it was just an average experience. I do not think it is worth the wait.

Awesome sandwich! Was actually pleasantly surprised with the portion size too. This little gem is tucked away nicely alongside with other good looking cafes under one roof. Definitely a must go-to place if you like gourmet sandiwiches.

A glorious pink whole foods canteen for a mid-week long lunch. We could've sat here for hours over luxury teas amid the pumpkin centrepieces and giant cutlery decor. The whole area was bustling which created a nice ambience. The tea selection is extensive and even the English breakfast tea tastes exotic. The sandwich in a box is a unique and wholesome meal full of veggie goodness. I wish they sold their agave blue cheese as I could eat it with everything. Definitely going to be a lunch time staple!
