Bread & Roses Bakery
This bakery used to be a great place while the French team managed it. They were a bit dear but still worth it as they used organic flour, great recipes and made real, French type bakery products and cakes.
Since they suddenly disappeared, not any more, unfortunately.
The quality dropped and the staff is untrained. One of them didn't even know which bread was the baguette!?! She didn't know the prices either as they weren't written on the shelves.
The sourdough bread doesn't taste like a properly done sourdough.
Despite being a bakery, they don't have breads for the last two weeks and they don't know when they will.
They are on the best way to lose their remaining customers and to become a failed business.
Oh my so yummy yummy ! Organic bread and pastries made with love. Friendly quirky staff with great sense of humour.
I have been here many times to try the organic beef meat pies, vanilla Mille fuielle is my favourite and slow rise sourdough has so much flavour.
Awesome to grab a bite on the way to the beach or takeaway for a treat with friends and family.
