Breakfast Thieves
This place gets quite busy but it's well worth the visit. They have a wide variety on their menu with options like the spicy baked eggs with chorizo, peas, mushrooms, feta and pumpkin and it comes with garlic bread, French toast, three kinds of eggs benedict (ms omega lol), and the usual breakfast bircher etc.
Their hot chocolate is interesting as it uses strong cacao powder with coconut sugar. Definitely for those who are against refined sugar. Not for my friend who thought the hot chocolate was quite bitter and dark.
For a Saturday catch up being with friends, another busy day. Luckily for a table of 4, the wait wasn't too long but still took 18 mins to get a table. I ordered the baked eggs which was really tasty, full of flavour and just the right balance with tomato and eggs. One negative is that the wait for the food to be severed took long and had to ask to check on our order.
Tried the Gypsy Dance which consists of Spanish morcilla (black pudding) served with the rosemary and Parmesan polenta bars, Chilean pebre, cherry tomatoes, picked, basil oil and poached eggs $19.50. The polenta was nice and warm. The picked cold. The poached eggs done nicely. Good dish all around!
