Brewristas

Brewristas is one of a few modern cafes that manages to put their names on the map for coffee lovers to rejoice. Located in Glebe, a suburb not usually known for its coffee culture, it occupies a slightly narrow shop. Inside, it has a very low lighting as an ambiance, so if you are keen for hints of natural light, their covered backyard seats are probably your best place.

In addition to being a coffee shop, they also have a little bit of a coffee lab thing going on, where you can see the coffee dripping process and so much more. Quite exciting, really.

The popular thing at this place are the cold brews — not just coffee, but also brewtea and 'brewmonade', a mix of coffee and lemonade. Then there are also some cakes and all to go with your drinks. If you are looking for more substantial food, they have cafe food uniquely fused with Asian dishes, such as pork belly with Korean noodle.

As you walk in you spot the delicious sweet treats on offer - I spotted a nutella and a caramel scroll and a tart that had a chocolate syringe in it! You know this place is going to be good

I have been meaning to check this place out for agess! So when a foodie event came up i thought why not!

It was a nice warm afternoon that we got to chat to other like minded instagrammers who enjoy food but most of all taking photos of it.

I got the Double chocolate milkshake (i think that's what it was called). By golly it was sweet! It had nutella around the top of the jar, a slice of brownie on top and whipped cream! I could only finish half of it. Sooo much sugar! Thanks to Jason who makes all these delicious shakes!

Overall, was a great first time visit, i aim to go back to try some cold brew and other items on the menu

Home to one of the crazy milkshake that might give you diabetes, ask Jason whom is the milkshake guru, he can make you smile or cry in horror!
