Brides In Love

The first time I came, staff were attentive. The second time I came to say yes to the dress, the staff were just sitting around, didn't attend to me when I've made a booking. After waiting for 5 minutes, someone finally came to talk to me. On top the dress I wanted wasn't there for me to try on again. I ended up getting the dress because I loved it from my first try. They told me the dress would take 6 months to arrive. I bought mine 8-9 months early. It didn't arrive until the 8th month with delays. The dress arrived but takes 10 days for it to arrive in store... Then when I tried to book for my alterations, I had to wait 2 weeks. They measured me but I still had to do alterations and fittings again.... I ended up getting the dress 2 weeks before the wedding. I gave myself 2 months of buffer time to get things sorted. As we entered the store, I had to say hello to the woman behind the counter as she could not be bothered to raise her head to even look at us. She did not smile, was not friendly, but I proceeded with looking for a gown. I found their attitude very sarcastic and condescending. I am polite, well mannered, well spoken and friendly. I had to force her to start helping us to find a dress. The store is well presented, but the standard of the gowns is truly below par. They are very cheaply made and ill fitting. I had a large budget, but there was nothing that stood out as worth my money.

I went in on Tuesday to purchase me dress, they were flat out, but they still had the time to deal with us, I tried on several dresses that I liked the manager on shift Angela was very very helpful, she told me which dress suited me and which didn't go well she also gave me different suggestions with the dress ie. ballero, longer, shorter veil etc!! She also helped me find a flower girl dress for my flower girl!!!

Greeted well in store and assisted straight away. I found it 'odd' that many of the dresses I liked I could not try on as they did not have my 'size' and would not put something on you and hold etc so that you got a idea of the fit. I have to admit I did buy my gown here and it is fantastic- very happy with the overall result. Mimi in alterations is fantastic!
