A year and a bit on and i have been back to try out the menu again. I must say, the food has improved since I was last here. The portion sizes for the mains are enormous. The bar is accessible by a rear entry from bridge lane/tank stream lane which I didn't really notice last time. Looks like a cool place to have a drink really. I would definitely come back.
Funky place and they have good service. The food was quite delicious and the flavours were very strong. I enjoyed my burger but in all honesty there are better choices around you. The good thing is this place is open for dinner whereas the best burger joints in the city are closed then.
This place is touted online as being a good burger joint. It isn't. The food was really poor. I suspect it wasn't always a bad place to have a burger, but whoever is making them now needs to lift their game.
Fortunately, the redeeming features are its location and laid back atmosphere.
Could really be great if it lifted its food game.
Great joint! Hidden too! You wouldn't have known something like this existed in the heart of the city. I came here with 7 other people for our Christmas lunch, I felt like I was in New York City. The food was average. I ordered the seafood platter and wasn't too impressed. The seafood didn't taste fresh at all and tasted like it was just heated up. Maybe I should have ordered the burger as this seemed to be the most favorable on the menu. The entrees was tasty, the sweet potato chips were my favourite. I like the layout, the atmostphere is great and the waiters are super friendly. Cocktails are amazing!! I'll definitely come back here for the cocktails.
