Buyer Beware! In August 2014 I phoned several tyre dealerships regarding the purchase of two tyres for my car. I rang Bridgestone Select North Lakes and was quoted $179 each fitted and balanced for the Firestone TZ700. After checking reviews on that tyre, I called back and booked my car in, advising that payment would be via my lease service provider. The representative indicated that the price may be a little cheaper due to the relationship with the service provider. When I arrived at the dealership I gave my name and the staff looked up the details, then proceeded to complain that they made no money from (the service provider) and was quite abrupt. I wasn't able to verify the price as they said it would be invoiced direct to them. An hour and a half later my car was ready to go. Just to let you know, Lease companies have pricing which is negotiated with Bridgestone Australia, the individual franchises do not have access to this information. When you originaly would have rang up about the pricing of the tyre, unless you said something about it being a lease vehicle, the person you spoke to would have just givin you his retail price. It probably took longer to do the job, because you have to actually call the lease company to get authorisation before you do the job. Sometimes this can take a while. Also, invoicing doesnt come from the franchise, the job is actually invoiced from Bridgestone Australia to your lease company, that would be why you weren't given one. Maybe before you bad mouth companies, find out all the information and get your facts straight.
Went in today to get some advice on my original tyres as they were wearing unevenly. I was served by Brian the Manager who was great! He came out, had a look, gave me his time and good advice and didn't try selling me anything but I will definitely be going there when I do need to purchase new tyres or wheel alignments and rotations when needed for both of my cars! well done, More places need to have that kind of service that seems to be uncommon these days!
Just wanted to thank Brian and the boys at Bridgestone for their fantastic service today fitting my new rims. Thank you too to Jason for painting the calipers - they look great. Highly recommend these guys for a great price, great service and friendly and helpful attitude. Will be buying new tyres from them when I need them. Thanks once again guys
