I have had several cameras and lenses repaired by Charles over the past several years. As a photo journalist I cannot afford much in the way of camera down time and Charles has always come through with prompt service and great results. I unreservedly recommend his services.
Left a Mamiya C330 medium format camera with them to fix a broken shutter release button which was not triggering the shutter, in the month of April 2012. After a few weeks i rang them and told me they needed to make a special plate/bracket for the shutter release mechanism, so i patiently waited. After a month or so , i rang again. Again they replied with the same response. I was a very patient with them,and after ringing every 4 weeks, SAME answer. Feb 2013, 11 MONTHS LATER!!!!!!! Phoned them and said i want my camera back, picked it up the next night . Gave me my camera MINUS THE SHUTTER RELEASE MECHANISM!!! I noticed it and told them i wasnt happy it was missing , they replied thats how i gave them the camera, Duh!!!I know how i gave them the camera.
