Hi - we needed a light fixed, so we searched around for electricians. We found Briggs Electrical and chose them because they told us that they offered free quotes. When I spoke with them they asked me to send them a picture of my light - I thought - wow, these guys must be excellent if they can quote based only on a photo of my light - but new to this area I sent it anyway. They quoted $180 to fix the light. Great, I thought - so I asked them to visit us. When they arrived, they told us that the light would cost anything from 8-10k to fix because all the internal wiring needed replacing and that we owed them $180 for their visit. I mentioned that they told me they provided free quotes, which is why I chose them in the first place, and they said they could not quote based on a photo. If you want a great job for a reasonable price, David is the best electrician in bayside to phone. I had a few lighting jobs and a data point installed today and I am thrilled with his work and professional manner. He knows his stuff and is very knowledgeable with lighting and what works well in your home. I will use him again soon for some downlights.
