Brighten fish and chips is our local. The service is fantastic with friendly and helpful staff. It's the best fish and chips shop in the area as the food is fresh.

Growing up, Friday night was often Fish & Chip night. Now the place where we used to go when I was young has gone the way of full-service petrol stations, I've been searching for a worthy replacement. I believe I have found it.
Good range of fish species to dip in batter and fry to their delectable crunchy golden brown, or the many sides like pineapple and banana fritters, potato/fish scallops and crab sticks. Chips are never soggy like you get in some places; you can always tell who doesn't change the frying oil regularly.
The full waiting area in the front of the shop, and constant stream of people picking up phone orders, is a testament to how popular this place is. So pick some up and head down the beach for sunset, and find out why I always say "mmmm so good"

This is a typical fish and chippy, the quality of the produce rages from good- very good but unfortunately not excellent.
